Shervin Shadianloo, M.D.
Shervin Shadianloo, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell and a double Board Certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist and a Distinguished Fellow of American Psychiatric Association and American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. He is the Medical Director of BALANCE Eating Disorder. At Northwell Health his focus of work is on LGBTQ care and teaching. He works at Friedman Transgender Wellness Program at Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Shadianloo
has an extensive international working experience and is culturally diverse in treating patients from various backgrounds. He is an active advocate for youth mental health and LGBTQ health nationally and globally. Shervin is the president of New York Council on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and immediate past president of Pride CAPA (LGBTQ Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Association). He chairs and is a member of several committees in American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, AGLP (Association of LGBTQ Psychiatrist) and in New York City focused on advocacy and youth mental health.
